I did it!

I finally caved. I have always wanted a blog, but never had the time to actually buckle down and make one.

Ever since the dryer at the College gym broke I have had a bit of down time. For anyone who doesn't know what I do for a job: I make sure the gyms are ready for team practices, I sell memberships, check people in when they come to work out and do laundry. So without a dryer, that takes away about half my job. haha. But really. I have been so bored this past week. But! The dryer got fixed today! Yay! Now I feel like I am actually working which is good!

As for my non-work life I go to school which is also at the College. I am in my final semester of Exercise Science and I cannot wait to be done. It will be a busy couple of months and then I can finally get a real job! :) For school we get to personal train clients which means we have to do fitness assessments on them. I was pretty nervous to do mine today but it went very well. This last semester is a lot practical work and no tests! Woohoo!!

As for my non-work, non-school life...it is going great! I love my husband with all of my heart and we have fun for the 45 minutes a day we see each other. haha. We are going out to Kelowna for reading week! I have never been there before so I can't wait to see all the family out there and take in the beautiful scenery. Oh, and my cousin recently became engaged to be married so we will be in Oregon at the end of April. I am SO excited! She is a wonderful woman who will make an even better wife!

To end, here is a quote I saw on facebook the other day. "Too often we are scared, scared of what we might not be able to do, scared of what people might think if we tried. We let our fears stand in the way of out hopes. Why? There is really no time to be afraid. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain."
